“I bought a piano on December 30 and had to take a showroom display unit because it was urgent. A piano bench was supposed to be included, but it was not provided. I was promised delivery within 2–3 days. Two weeks later, I still haven’t received the piano bench. I called multiple times — only empty promises, no follow-up. I even visited the store again and was told I would be contacted within an hour. Nobody ever contacted me. The piano was poorly packed, and I had to arrange delivery myself. Later I found the same piano in other stores for 500 AED less, brand new and factory packed. Very irresponsible staff and terrible customer service. Strongly not recommended.”

“Melodica, Dubai Hills mall branch. If I could give them a rating on minus I would happily do. The only reason we stuck to Melodica for 6 years; are because of the teachers who taught my children and they had been fantastic. Cut to 6 years and 4 teacher changes each (my son was taking piano classes while daughter was into vocals) I came to know how pathetic condition they keep their teachers in - no breaks and for us parents / kids’ sick leaves are not taken in consideration. Anyway the final nail in coffin was that recently, due to an emergency we had to discontinue our classes and shift countries and could not continue the package which is worth over 2300 AED of my money they happily kept. We even mentioned that we have no problem you (Team Melodica) keep the money but atleast let us buy something from you guys so it’s a fair play. No problem, you keep the money. NO!!! Instead they said as per their “management policy” they can’t. The once upon a time great institute is nothing but sham now due to their pathetic operations, infrastructure, un-believably horrifying rules for cancellations. They have just become a money minting machine rather than being a genuine music academy who used to genuinely care about its students once upon a time & like it used to be 6 years back. My recommendation- don’t go if you’re looking for truly class apart “quality” classes for your kids. Now, Melodica only knows to take money and zero respect or responsibility for students and their well being or having any empathy involved. Better to have their teachers come and teach your kids at comfort of your home (I know several who left Melodica who mentioned the same circumstances) that the institution just cares about making money and not even close to how it was 6-7 years back. What an utter disgrace!”

“I came to purchase a specific model after confirming availability with staff in advance. At the store, I was first told it was not available, only to later find it near reception. The staff member assisting us stopped midway (changing shoes at the counter), with no handover, and I had to ask who would continue assisting. Another staff member (Paul) took over. He told me I could test the item after payment. I paid, but then the explanation kept changing—no plug, need to check fuse, then suddenly “policy” doesn’t allow opening at all. The item was never even prepared as agreed. During the same visit, Paul also asked me to stop my child from trying display pianos because she was “disturbing,” even though they were on display and powered on. Unfortunately, this is not my first poor experience here. There seems to be a serious lack of consistency in staff behavior and customer handling.”

“Had a great experience at Melodica Dubai Hills! The store is clean, organized, and has a very welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and very professional. They assisted us well and made the experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended for their excellent customer service and positive environment!”
