My 8 year old daughter and 5 year old son absolutely love to go swimming with coach Helal. He is super patient, skilled and professional. It's a nice friendly environment for kids to learn some skills.

We enrolled our child in swimming classes at Kafou Sport Academy in Rashidiya, Dubai. At the time of admission, I clearly explained that completing all 8 sessions within one month might not be possible. We’re dealing with children — it was winter season, kids fall sick, and schedules shift. I was assured that this would be managed and adjusted if needed. Fast forward to the end of the month — we were suddenly told that nothing could be done about the remaining two sessions. When I reminded them of the earlier assurance, they asked me for “proof” of sickness and proof of who promised flexibility. That coach is apparently “no longer working there,” so now they claim they have no responsibility for what he told us. To make things worse, I was told that the only way to get the remaining two sessions would be to renew for another month. Otherwise, they would not accommodate us. The tone was rude and completely different from how they were on the day of sales. When I asked the staff member for her name, she initially refused to provide it. After insisting, she said her name was “Nov.” That level of unprofessional behavior speaks volumes. As parents, we trust academies with our children’s development and safety. What hurt the most wasn’t even the two sessions — it was the dismissive attitude and lack of accountability. Please be cautious and get everything in writing before enrolling. The sales pitch may sound reassuring, but make sure the policies are clearly documented. Very disappointed.

Very disappointed with the attitude of the new coach at the Rashidiya branch. They have removed all the good coaches. My kids have been with Kafou for the past four months. Due to illness, they missed five classes, but now the coach is saying that as per company policy they cannot continue. There was no flexibility or understanding. Please be careful about paying for more than one month in advance. I paid for two months, and almost one month’s fee has been wasted.

“My 7-year-old son absolutely loves attending this swimming academy! The instructors are incredibly patient, skilled, and great with kids. They create a fun, safe, and encouraging environment that has helped my son gain confidence in the water. His swimming skills have improved so much, and he looks forward to every session. I highly recommend this academy to any parent looking for quality swimming lessons for their child!” keep it up team Rashidiya.

Please be cautious, parents. My child suffered two eye infections during this summer camp. I had paid for the full program of 2 months, but she was only able to attend for about 15 days before developing a rare bacterial eye infection. I have the ophthalmologist’s prescriptions and medical notes to support this. When we informed the camp and showed them the medical documents, they told us not to send her back and assured us that they would refund the remaining amount. However, they never issued the refund. What’s more concerning is that they refused to take responsibility or even consider getting their swimming pools tested for contamination. Instead, they simply wanted us to stay quiet and accept a refund—which never came. At this point, it’s not about the money. It’s about children’s safety. My child spent the entire summer suffering instead of having fun. Please be careful. I strongly advise not sending kids for swimming at this facility. Choose a place that is clean, safe, and responsible.
