“My 10 year old son had his first mentor connect with Dr.ShriSudha and it was most amazing. My child has been fascinated by space from kindergarten. He was captivated by a book on solar system that he happened to see. It developed into exploration of Uranus, Moons, Exoplanets, Galaxies, Constellations, Space Junk, Terraforming over the next few years. Now with Dr.ShriSudha, there is an outlet for him to connect , have discussions and nurture his space love. She is an extremely knowledgeable person who is also very good in handling child. She gathered good understanding of the child and he was thoroughly engaged the entire one hour of mentoring session. Topic selection, presentation, interaction with child, appreciation for child's curiosity and knowledge was excellent. Mentor kept the session engaging with very good flow and different kinds of activities. She could answer many hypothetical questions child had. Answers also touched several areas of science like physics, chemistry, environmental concerns. Child learnt new topics and mentor did reinforcement using different ways. Mentor paid full attention to the child and there was steady flow of information which is important for my child to stay engaged. Conversations were at the level of the learner and has given him new sparks. I'm confident that mentorship by Dr.ShriSudha will help channelise my child's passion for astronomy.”
